Last night the Girls swim team headed off to Lafayette Jefferson to face off in their Sectional Preliminary races. The girls swam incredibly hard all night. The lady advanced 2 swimmers into the top 16, Giselle Figueroa placed 11th in her 100 Fly with a time of 1:08.09. Hadley shaffer placed 10th in her 100 Fly with a 1:07.79 and placed 13th in her 200 IM with a time of 2:46.71. For the relays the girls 200 Medley relay placed 8th advancing to the finals, the girls 200 Freestyle relay placed 8th as well to advance to the finals, Last but not least the girls 400 Freestyle relay placed 6th to advance to the finals. On Saturday the girls head back to Jefferson to face off in the sectional finals.
